my Painting Process

Painting and illustration started out as a hobby. I’ve always enjoyed it, but as I began to transition career fields and start my job as a tattoo artist, art turned into my full time job.

My art usually begins with a specific emotion. My paintings usually convey what I was feeling during a specific time or event. I use these feelings to pick my color pallet, painting theme, and abstract composition. I find it imperative not to overthink my work, or it stifles the potential of what I have to offer.
